History: Amber Tracks

early on October, Tanja and I exchanged e-mails with details on the project and had some discusion about Baltic.
here are some of what Tanja shared with  me:

Latvia have a long border (about 1/3) with Sea, we don't have cliffs, only sand dunes, anyway, some shores are pebbly... on some places shores are high enough (20 m)
Our shores are famous because of their very fine white quartz sand (i never see in any other shores so white and fine ...) and ... of course we are famous with Baltic amber :) After the storms there are lot of them on seaside ...
Baltic sea is special, because it is not very salt - maybe it is the only sea on the World that is not salt, something between lake and sea ...

Do you saw Sea in snow and ice ?
I send you 2 pics with ice :)

some days after that, Tanja had sent me some links to have information about amber
here you can see and read by your own!
